Offering festival-goers an unforgettable blend of electronic and techno sounds under the backdrop of the stunning Asturian coastline, the festival was a sold-out success story with Void Acoustics centre stage.
Setting the Void Stage
For the festival’s debut, the Void Stage became a hub of energy, attracting a mix of passionate festival-goers and top-tier performers. The stage played host to a unique range of local and global techno artists over two days, featuring Manglés, Anthony Rother, Kittin and more.
The main stage featured a sophisticated Void sound system that included Air Motion speakers and Air Vantage monitors, renowned for their high-power handling and clarity. These were specifically chosen and installed by Conektion Audio to meet the demands of Gijón’s coastal location.
With towering 20-foot stages and a sprawling venue, Void’s powerful sound system offered immersive sounds that captivated the crowds from the front row to the back of the beach.
The Nexus XL subwoofers gave the festival a deep, resonant bass that became a signature element of Lanna’s techno experience. DJs and performers all praised the clarity and precision of the Void system, enhancing their sets with powerful, engaging sound.
Air Motion delivers crisp festival sounds
The festival faced the challenge of evenly distributing sound across the large, open venue while maintaining sound detail and impact. The system included four Air Motion speakers, two Air Vantage monitors and six Nexus XL subwoofers to deliver deep, immersive bass during the festival's peak hours for clear, defined audio during DJ sets.
Lanna’s lineup of Void solutions also included two Nexus Q units and a series of Arcline 218 and Stasys 4 speakers to round out the full-spectrum festival audio.
Void's equipment proved essential in managing Lanna Festival’s dynamic space. DJs and attendees alike marvelled at the precision of the sound system, which was particularly notable during high-energy moments for creating a club atmosphere on the coast of Asturias. The result was a fully immersive audio experience, with Void's renowned equipment amplifying each artist’s performance with punch and clarity.
After the overwhelming success of its debut, Lanna Festival returned on September 27-28, 2024. With the legacy of its first year to build upon, the festival delivered an even bigger lineup, raising its profile as a must-attend event for electro and techno lovers alike. Void Acoustics continues to have a major presence at the festival, with the Void Stage featuring Dr Smoke, The Advent and many more.
