Chateau Denmark, London
Void Acoustics on London’s iconic Denmark Street
For any British music aficionado, Denmark Street conjures images of legendary music publishers, recording studios, and guitar shops that shaped the British music scene throughout the 1950s, 60s, and 70s
Located in the heart of London’s historic Denmark Street, Chateau Denmark is a bold hospitality concept comprising 55 rooms and apartments spread across 16 buildings. Deeply rooted in the street’s rich musical heritage, the venue blends eclectic interior design with immersive entertainment experiences, making Void Acoustics a natural fit for the project.
Void Acoustics systems feature prominently throughout the property, selected not only for their exceptional sound performance, but also for their distinctive design language and synergy with the venue’s creative vision.
Every detail throughout Chateau Denmark has been carefully considered, from bespoke furnishings to integrated technology.

Bespoke audio throughout
Working in close collaboration with systems integrator Butler Harwell, Void Acoustics’ design and technical teams delivered a fully tailored audio solution across the property.
Guest apartments feature Air Motion and Airten V3 loudspeakers from Void’s flagship Air Series, paired with Sub Vantage subwoofers and powered by Bias Amplifiers for intuitive control and optimised performance. Elsewhere throughout the venue, Cyclone 10, Cyclone 55, and Air 8 loudspeakers provide immersive sound coverage while contributing to the visual identity of the interiors.
Low-frequency reinforcement is delivered via Venu 210i V2 and Venu 208 subwoofers, selected for their compact footprint and powerful output. In several apartments, the Venu 210i V2 subwoofers were discreetly integrated directly into the sofas alongside the Air 8 systems, creating a space-saving solution without compromising performance.

Designed around the space
Chateau Denmark’s unconventional layouts presented a number of unique installation challenges, including limited space for traditional amplifier racks. To overcome this, Void Acoustics developed a bespoke Bias T1 amplifier module, a custom-built four-channel amplifier solution with integrated DSP control designed specifically for the project.
Within the bathrooms, Void’s IP-55 rated Cyclone Series provided the ideal solution for environments exposed to humidity and temperature fluctuations. The Cyclone 55’s wide dispersion pattern also reduced the need for additional loudspeakers, helping preserve the clean aesthetic throughout the spaces.
Luxury hospitality powered by Void Acoustics
The collaboration with Chateau Denmark further highlights Void Acoustics’ growing presence within luxury hospitality environments, where premium sound and striking design are equally essential to the guest experience.
“It has been a phenomenal project to work on. The history of Denmark Street validates Chateau Denmark as a music focussed place of the highest order. It was a brief like no other, including bespoke systems in the bedrooms, as well as systems integrated into the bathrooms.”
