Void Acoustics takes centre stage at Glastonbury
Void Acoustics made a striking visual and sonic impact at Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary festival with the deployment of a large scale Arcline 8 system at the new Lonely Hearts Club stage within the iconic Silver Hayes area.
Installed by long standing Void partner NSL Productions for Team Love, the art deco inspired stage quickly became one of the standout visual destinations across the festival weekend.
Framed by towering Void Acoustics arrays and surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere of Silver Hayes, the stage combined immersive sound, dramatic lighting, and bold architectural design to create a powerful late night festival experience.

Scalable festival sound for Silver Hayes
The Lonely Hearts Club stage required a scalable and tightly controlled audio system capable of supporting crowds of up to 7,000 people while complying with strict offsite noise restrictions across the Glastonbury site.
Working closely with Team Love from the early planning stages, NSL Productions designed a system centred around Void’s Arcline 8 line array platform to provide smooth coverage, controlled dispersion, and consistent sound quality across the audience area.
The FOH system featured two hangs of ten Arcline 8 loudspeakers per side, split into three zones and supported by a delayed horizontal array of 12 × Stasys 218 subwoofers. This configuration allowed the team to maintain powerful and immersive sound within the main audience area while minimising unwanted spill into surrounding festival spaces and offsite monitoring points.
“We were confident that the system design was going to provide consistent audio quality and perceived levels throughout the weekend, which is exactly what we have come to expect from Void Acoustics and their exceptional products.”

Built for DJs, live acts, and late night performances
The audio system also needed to support a varied programme of DJs, live bands, singers, and MCs throughout the festival weekend.
To provide maximum flexibility on stage, NSL Productions deployed stacks of Stasys 118 subwoofers alongside Void’s Air Vantage loudspeakers for DJ monitoring, side fills, and live performance support. Bias Q5 amplifiers provided the DSP control and system management required to maintain consistent performance across changing set formats and demanding outdoor conditions.
Despite challenging weather conditions and strict environmental sound limits, the system maintained clarity, control, and consistent coverage throughout the entire weekend.

Strong feedback across the festival
The completed system received strong praise from touring engineers, performers, festival organisers, and audiences alike, with many highlighting the clarity and smooth sonic character of the setup across the weekend.
For NSL Productions and Void Acoustics, the project represented a major showcase for large scale festival sound reinforcement at one of the world’s most recognised music festivals, combining high output performance with the precision and control required for modern outdoor event environments.
“We have been thrilled with the feedback from everyone. Touring FOH engineers, performers, live bands, and DJs have all been overwhelmingly positive and delighted with the clarity and smooth sound of the system throughout the weekend.”
