Void Acoustics Partners with Strongroom Studios for a Milestone Anniversary
Void Acoustics, a leading innovator in high-performance sound, has partnered with independent recording studio Strongroom.
Founded in 1984, Strongroom is a historic music recording studio complex, live music venue and bar known for its visually iconic facilities designed by legendary artist, Jamie Reid.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024, Strongroom began a year of celebrations by reimagining Studio 4, earning a Music Producer’s Guild ‘Studio of The Year’ 2024 nomination. Strongroom then turned to its award-winning bar for a dramatic rethink, renovating the space into a full-spec, high-performing music venue and nightclub space in partnership with Void Acoustics.
The collaboration marks the beginning of Void Acoustics and Strongroom’s three-year partnership, which will see Strongroom’s venue showcase Void's latest products. As part of the partnership, Void Acoustics has been installed in the venue’s live performance space.
Located at the heart of London’s creative community in Shoreditch, Strongroom’s studios have been used by legendary artists, including Radiohead, The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. Strongroom facilitates the growth of rising stars and has been the birthplace of numerous famous records, including historic records Prodigy’s ‘The Fat of The Land, Spice Girls' ‘Wannabe’ and more recently ‘Frank Ocean’s ‘Blonde’ and Little Simz’ ‘Sometimes I Might be Introvert’.
Void Acoustics, founded over twenty years ago by Rog Mogale and Alex Skan, provides innovative audio systems for clubs and hospitality venues. Renowned for visually striking speakers, Void is installed in world-famous venues, including Studio 338, Eden, Blitz and a decade of partnering with Boomtown Festival.

The best and brightest of the recording and live music sectors attended Strongroom on Thursday 6th February 2025 for an exclusive event to celebrate the studio’s 40th birthday. Entertained by DJ sets from DJ Bing, TATYANA & PVA, lau.ra and a blistering full-band & live breakbeat performance from artist Charlieeeee, partygoers were energised by the pristine audio quality of Void Acoustics’ sound system first-hand.
This partnership comes shortly after Void Acoustics announced three new products at ISE 2025 in Barcelona, including the unveiling of Kinesys.
