Contact usFrom humble beginnings with just 350 attendees in 2014, Wolfkop Weekender has grown into an internationally recognised 4,000-strong celebration of music, creativity and community, thanks to Integrator Apollo AV.
The festival, now a mainstay on the regional calendar, banked on the unmatched performance of Void Acoustics to deliver an unforgettable sound experience across two main stages for the 2025 festival.
Void’s flagship Incubus system was the main event on the Forest Stage, providing the soundscape for performances by international and local artists including Axel Boman, He/She/They, DJ Chris Cruise and Floyd Lavine. Wolfkop is mainly an electronic music festival, sitting perfectly within Void’s wheelhouse of club speakers, specially adapted for outdoor festival settings.
Attracting over 4,000 punters this year, many of the attendees were extremely impressed with the look and sound of Void’s audio systems.
Across both stages, Void Acoustics’ signature clarity, punch and aesthetics were on full display.
The River Stage featured Void’s Stasys Xairs, Tri Motions and a Bias Q5, whilst the Forest Stage setup consisted of the Incubus, Arcline 118, Air Vantages and Bias Q5 systems. Wolfkop’s dual stage configuration ensured that the sound of music was not only powerful and immersive, but also consistent across the entire festival. Void’s Air Array was the star of the show, renowned for its striking visuals and unmistakable sounds, the Air Array never fails to impress.
The deployment of Void at the Wolfkop festivals has been a game changer for the artists that play there, for me as the booker and most importantly, for the audiences wowed by the Void system's stunning sound and gorgeous looks. The partnership with Apollo in Cape Town has led to the deployment of Void Acoustics across both our main dance floors.
The organisers’ love for Void doesn’t stop with Wolfkop. Void’s Incubus system made its South African debut at Bazique Festival, another major event powered by Apollo AV in collaboration with Void Acoustics.
Void Acoustics continues to blaze its own unique path with high-end sound system installations for the festival industry. The brand's growing influence in South Africa’s festival scene is a testament to its ability to meet the demanding expectations of organisers, artists, and audiences alike.
Wolfkop Weekender wraps up another successful festival under the South African sun, celebrating up-and-coming electronic artists and solidifying the event as one to watch in the South African dance scene.
