The Martini, Varna

A symbol of premium bar culture in Varna, The Martini recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Renowned for its dedication to exceptional food, cocktails, and service, the brand has been at the heart of the city’s high-class entertainment for two decades. After several successful downtown locations, The Martini team chose a prime new site in the iconic Black Sea Hotel building, placing the venue at the centre of Varna’s day and night scene. The aim was clear: elevate the brand’s legacy into a complete nightlife destination, combining fine dining, premium cocktails, and immersive dance music under one roof. 

The new space features a modern interior with extensive glass walls and a glass roof, creating a visually stunning environment but also significant acoustic challenges. Investors required a system that delivered high SPL for an engaging club experience, controlled sound dispersion to manage reflections, and an easy to operate solution that complemented the 350-capacity venue. 

Void Acoustics, installed by local distributor Imperia AV, was the clear choice. Working closely with Void’s technical support team, the project was designed and delivered efficiently. The system includes: 

• 4 × ArcM 12 loudspeakers 
• 4 × Venu 10 V2 loudspeakers 
• 2 × Stasys 218 subwoofers 

Imperia AV also implemented a digital, user-friendly zoned level control system, enabling staff to adapt audio levels easily for different times of day and events.

The result is a fully integrated audio experience where guests can enjoy high-quality dining, premium cocktails, and a vibrant DJ-led music programme. The system’s precision and clarity enhance every moment, creating a venue where sound, design, and atmosphere converge seamlessly.

By integrating Void Acoustics into its flagship venue, The Martini has evolved from a renowned food-and-cocktail bar into a full-scale nightlife destination, well positioned for future growth and countless nights of unforgettable experiences.
