In 2025, Cubo Bar marks 20 years as a key destination on Varna’s coastal music scene. Located directly on the sand, the venue is known for its strong musical identity and the close relationship between artists, sound, and audience. From the outset, high quality audio has been central to the Cubo experience.
Hosting international DJs, live performers, and local artists, Cubo is recognised across Bulgaria for its carefully curated musical programme. As the venue evolved, the focus remained on delivering sound that allows artists to perform freely and audiences to experience music with clarity, energy, and emotion.
To support this vision, Cubo required a sound system capable of delivering power, detail, and control across a wide range of musical styles. The aim was to enhance the sonic experience while preserving the venue’s unique atmosphere by the sea, ensuring consistent performance for both DJ sets and live acts.
Void Acoustics delivered by Imperia AV
Void Acoustics was selected as the core of the system, with design and installation handled by local Bulgarian Void Acoustics distributor Imperia AV. Working closely with the Cubo team, Imperia AV delivered a solution that places Void sound at the centre of the venue, combining sonic precision with strong visual presence. The system includes:
- 2 x Air Motion loudspeakers
- 2 x Stasys Xair subwoofers
This configuration provides strong mid-range definition, controlled low frequency performance, and the headroom required for high energy music, while remaining balanced and consistent across the space.

The Void system enables clear communication between performer and audience, helping to unite diverse crowds on the dancefloor. With Void Acoustics installed by Imperia AV at its core, Cubo Bar continues to set a benchmark for coastal venues in Varna and across Bulgaria, reinforcing its reputation for exceptional sound, music, and atmosphere by the sea.
