Void Acoustics is known for breaking the mould with visually striking sound systems, though we might have met our match when it comes to flair. From the first step into Bestial by Rosi La Loca, a Madrid-based restaurant with an underwater theme, visitors are met with an explosion of colour and fantasy. 

Bestial needed an exceptional sound system to match the wild energy of this Spanish seafood restaurant. Void was the only choice, offering an installation that could enhance the ambience, complement live performances, and harmonise seamlessly with the venue’s striking design.

Bestial’s objective was clear: to create a high-quality soundscape that would rise to the occasion of the venue’s unbelievable experience.

Void Acoustics was the perfect fit. Soundleds, the installer for this project, partnered with Void to deliver a sound system that not only meets the space’s functional demands but also blows the competition out of the water to fit Bestial’s sensational visuals.

In the main dining area, Void’s Air 8 speakers take centre stage. Crafted from durable fibreglass and boasting an IP-55 rating, these passive 8-inch speakers deliver crystal-clear sound with precision. Paired with strategically positioned Cyclone 4 speakers, there is no space lacking in coverage, adapting effortlessly from background music during service to high-energy audio for live DJ sets.

To achieve rich, immersive bass, Soundleds installed Venu 208 and Venu 112 V2 subwoofers around the venue to provide consistent low-frequency support. Void’s compact yet powerful Venu 112 V2 subwoofers enhance audio depth. The system is powered by Bias D1 and Bias Q1.5 amplifiers.

This combination is especially important for Bestial’s varied live performances ranging from expressive performances on Bestial’s whale-shaped piano to live DJ sets where the bassline is pivotal in creating an impactful experience.

From the giant mermaid hanging from the ceiling to the 20-foot-long whale piano, Bestial truly offers a unique dining experience. Guests are bathed in a deep coral hue akin to a dreamscape, complemented by stunning kitchen scents and an exceptional range of drinks. Void’s sound system completes the Bestial experience, delivering a seamless blend of visual, culinary, and auditory excellence.
