System 1 - Cyclone 55 system, powered with Venu 210i V2
Commencing our system recommendations is the entry point system, priced typically in the region of £4,000 - £5,000 GBP or $4,500 - $5,500 USD. This price would include two Cyclone 55 loudspeakers, alongside a powered Venu 210i V2 subwoofer. The compact nature of Cyclone 55 loudspeakers means they take up a small footprint and the inclusion of a Venu 210i V2 subwoofer removes the requirement for any amplifier, saving even more space.
Utilising a non-resonant fibreglass enclosure, Cyclone 55 loudspeakers are highly desirable and utilise the recognisable ‘Void’ styling typical of products in the well-known, Air series. The speaker is also weather protected with UV-resilient paint and an IP-55 rating, amounting to years of trouble-free listening.
The system would provide an impressive frequency response of 40 Hz - 23 kHz ±3 dB. Cyclone 55 speakers boast a wide dispersion pattern of 110°H by 70°V, reducing the total amount of required units in most locations. However, for larger venues and spaces additional speakers can be added to the package at an extra cost, as the Venu 210i V2 can power up to four passive mid-high enclosures.
- Frequency Response: 40 Hz - 23 kHz ±3 dB
- Max SPL: 128 dB
- System Power: 1740 W AES
System 2 - Air 8, Venu 112 V2 & Bias Q1
For those with a modest budget, this system would typically be priced in the region of £5,000 -£6,000 GPB or $6,500 - $7,500 USD inclusive of two Air 8 loudspeakers, one Venu 112 V2 subwoofer, one Bias Q1 amplifier. Price range also allows for costing of professional loudspeaker cables.
This is our mid-point system recommendation, based on the addition of the Bias Q1 amplifier. Elevated levels of efficiency have resulted in low operation costs, power consumption, heat dissipation and carbon footprint. The dimensions of Bias Q1 provide a lightweight and compact amplifier that is just as durable as its counterparts. Bias amplifiers are compatible with our suite of optimised pre-sets, ensuring the delivery of first-class audio fidelity.
Air 8 loudspeakers make up part of the flagship Air series featuring a smooth low resonance fibreglass-constructed enclosure. The loudspeaker operates as a passive 8” two-way surface mount loudspeaker and utilises high-power internal crossover for ease of setup. Partnering the speaker with a Venu 112 V2 subwoofer extends the frequency response to 40 Hz - 160 Hz ±3 dB.
Subwoofers are typically recommended for systems being utilised for home-DJ or studio purposes, this is based on the musical characteristics of dance music styles and production techniques placing an emphasis on the presence of sub-bass, or lower frequencies between 20 Hz – 60 Hz.
- Frequency Response: 40 Hz - 20 kHz ±3 dB
- Max SPL: 128 dB
- System Power: 1200 W AES
System 3 – Airten V3, Venu 115 V2 & Bias Q2 System
The final system recommendation includes a highly regarded Void Acoustics product installed in noteworthy venues across the globe and is typically priced in the region of £11,000 - £12,000 GBP or $12,000 - $13,000 USD. This price includes costs for one pair of the celebrated Airten V3 loudspeakers, alongside a Venu 115 V2 subwoofer and Bias Q2 system.
Airten V3 loudspeakers comprise two, 10” low-frequency drivers, one 1.3” high-frequency compression driver, and a frequency response of 60 Hz - 20 kHz ±3 dB. The Venu 115 V2 subwoofer provides exceptionally powerful bass from a modestly sized enclosure, with a frequency response of 38 Hz - 160 Hz ±3 dB.
The four-channel Bias Q2 is highly efficient, resulting in reduced operation cost, power consumption, heat dissipation and carbon footprint, delivering a contemporary amplifier that is perfect for use in the home or studio environments. All our amplifiers are compatible with our suite of optimised pre-sets, in order to ensure quality and consistency across the Bias range.
- Frequency Response: 38 Hz - 20 kHz ±3 dB
- Max SPL: 135 dB
- System Power: 1500 W AES
