Void Acoustics supercharges the main stage at Lanna Festival
Lanna Festival, held in the coastal city of Gijón, Spain, made an electric debut in 2023, establishing itself as a breakout event on the electronic music scene. Offering festival-goers an unforgettable blend of electronic and techno sounds against the backdrop of the stunning Asturian coastline, the festival was a sold-out success with Void Acoustics centre stage.
For the festival’s debut, the Void Stage became a hub of energy, attracting a mix of passionate festival-goers and top-tier performers. The stage hosted a diverse range of local and international techno artists over two days, including Manglés, Anthony Rother, Kittin and more.

The main stage featured a sophisticated Void sound system that included Air Motion loudspeakers and Air Vantage monitors, renowned for their high power handling and clarity. These were specifically chosen and installed by Conektion Audio to meet the demands of Gijón’s coastal location. With towering 20-foot stages and a sprawling venue, Void’s powerful sound system delivered immersive sound that captivated crowds from the front row to the back of the beach.
The Nexus XL subwoofers provided deep, resonant bass that became a signature element of Lanna’s techno experience. DJs and performers praised the clarity and precision of the Void system, enhancing their sets with powerful, engaging sound.
Air Motions deliver crisp sounds
The festival faced the challenge of distributing sound evenly across a large, open venue while maintaining detail and impact. The system included four Air Motion loudspeakers, two Air Vantage monitors and six Nexus XL subwoofers, delivering deep, immersive bass during peak hours while maintaining clear, defined audio throughout DJ sets.
Lanna’s lineup of Void solutions also included two Nexus Q units and a series of Arcline 218 and Stasys loudspeakers, providing full-spectrum audio coverage across the festival site.
Void’s equipment proved essential in managing Lanna Festival’s dynamic space. DJs and attendees alike praised the precision of the sound system, particularly during high-energy moments where it helped create a club atmosphere on the Asturian coastline. The result was a fully immersive audio experience, with Void’s renowned equipment amplifying each artist’s performance with punch and clarity.
Building on a successful debut
Following the overwhelming success of its debut, Lanna Festival returned on 27–28 September 2024. Building on the legacy of its first year, the festival delivered an even bigger lineup, further establishing itself as a must-attend event for electronic and techno music fans.
Void Acoustics continues to play a major role at the festival, with the Void Stage featuring artists including Dr Smoke, The Advent and many more.
