Located on the 14th floor of the Dorsett City Hotel, the stunning Jin Bow Law Skybar needed a high-end sound system capable of providing great sound quality and creating a desirable party atmosphere for guests.
Working with our London installation partner, Barry Williams, owner of Twisted Audio, we explored a variety of loudspeaker options and tested the placement to ensure we delivered the very best audio solution for the space. Initially, we loaned a Venu 210i with two Air 8s for the in-house DJ to use for a few weekends. With an easy setup requiring only three cables (excluding the DJ Monitor), this was a perfect short-term solution as the venue owner could easily set it up independently and sample the sound. From this loan, the venue wanted to commit to a permanent Void installation and taking our advice, opted for a Venu X combined with four Air 8s.
Barry knew these Void products would be the ideal solution for Jin Bo Law. “From the moment we walked into the venue with its fantastic view and current concept, we were confident the Void Acoustics products would fit well due to their sleek design. The Air 8 was the product that we felt would best meet the client’s brief. As soon as we gave the sound demonstration to the customer, he fell in love with the product, for both its look and sound quality.”
Jake Manley, Void’s UK Sales Manager, also enjoyed collaborating with Twisted Audio on this project. “It was a true delight to work with the team at Jin Bo Law. The venue is incredible with its impressive views of London and lustrous décor so it was important to me that they had the sound to match. The loudspeakers needed to be elegant to match the sophisticated interior, compact enough so as not to impose on the space, and powerful enough to be able to produce high SPL for dancing long into the night. The Air 8 was the perfect loudspeaker choice to meet all of these requirements.”
To hear the sound system for yourself and savour epic London scenery while sipping on the finest cocktails, a visit to Jin Bo Law is a must.
